of the season is run at Epsom Downs over a distance of one mile

of 22 horses at the five day dec stage for the Vodafone Derby but
it's his other entry, Linda's Lad, that has been all the rage in
the betting. News that Frankie Dettori is set to partner Lindas
Lad has sparked something of a mini gamble, on the son of Sadlers
Wells, forcing William Hill to cut his price a number of times throughout
the day. The three year old is now just 12-1 (from 18-1) for the
Epsom Classic, which makes him the joint 5th favourite with Dylan
Thomas. As predicted Papal Bull was supplemented for Saturday's
big race and was immediately backed into 14-1 (from 16) while long
time favourite Visindar was eased out to 6-4 (from 11-8) along with
Horatio Nelson, who was again a market negative.

Following the news that Kieren Fallon has decided to ride Horatio
Nelson in this Saturday's Epsom Derby VC Bet have slashed the
Aidan O'Brien colt from 8-1 to 5-1 and eased Septimus, Fallon's
likely ride, from 4-1 to 9-2.
Neal Wilkins from VC Bet commented "The word is that Horatio
Nelson, who disappointed in the 2,000 Guinmeas, worked all over
the Dante winner Septimus at Ballydoyle this morning making it
an easy decision for Fallon
over his coice of Derby ride. In the next few days we expect continued
support for Horatio Nelson, given Fallon's superb record in the
Derby, and
we also expect Septimus to drift like the Kontiki!"
