Ernie One El of a Bet to Land a Sixth World Match Play Title says William Hill

After sound displays at the Dunhill Links Championship last week, William Hill makes Ernie Els ( 9/4 ) and Vijay Singh ( 11/4 ) early favourites for the HSBC World Match Play. And they are already quoted at 5/1 to play each other in the final.

William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said, "Ernie and Vijay are the obvious choices as world no 1 and no 2 but after we took a bashing in the Ryder Cup our punters may well choose to stick with their heroes Lee Westwood offered at 16/1 and M.A.Jimenez (also 16 )."
